Unlike most popular cheesy-romance authors who seem be afraid to touch their character’s sex lives with a ten-inch pole, Blakely tackles it head-on, leaving you squirming in your seat, with no room left for your imagination. She provides a raw unfiltered view of love in it’s entirety, with a story so intoxicatingly addictive, you’ll never be able to put it down. Big Rock was definitely a hoot to read! I liked Spencer and Charlotte's relationship, it was really cute. They get each other and are a great pairing. I liked the storyline, but I feel like it was missing something. I found myself mentally yelling at the characters a few times for things they did/did not do and thought. They were a bit frustrating at times, but I still enjoyed their story. I especially thought the ending was sweet and perfect for them.

I was really surprised at how much I loved this book! I loved that it is was 100% from the lead male's POV; that is rare in this genre. Because it was from the man's perspective, I feel like a refreshing level of comedy was able to be achieved. I enjoyed every minute of this book.

If they can convince everyone that they're madly in love, everything will be aces. A pretend engagement just for a week, and no one any the wiser. If only it was that easy... Oh, my goodness, did I love this book. BIG ROCK is the best example of why I fell in love with Lauren Blakely and her writing. This is a read full of heart, humor, sexiness, and romance, and it warms me right down to my toes. Spencer and Charlotte are the quintessential LB couple. They're both such great personalities, the kind of people that I would want to spend time with. The best thing about their relationship is that they're already friends, and already know the important things about each other. Their exchanges had me smiling throughout the entire book, and laughing out loud more than once. "Is that what you call me as your fiancée? Babe? Or is it sweetheart? Or something else? Snookums? Honey bear? Sweet cheeks? Snuffaluffagus?" "I assure you, it's not Snuffaluffagus." "I kind of like Snuffaluffagus..." These two have the kind of relationship that is so much fun to read. They love and respect each other as friends, and accept each other, warts and all. I really love, too, that this book is told from Spencer's point of view, and Lauren has nailed it. Guy think is done wonderfully well here, and I could not put this book down. The cast of supporting characters are awesome, especially Spencer's father and his sister, Harper, and his friend, Nick, whom I'm excited to be seeing more of in the near future. All in all, BIG ROCK is an easy 6 sexy, panty-melting, romantic, 'I can't get enough of it' stars. Everybody should be adding this to their TBR, because it is one of my favorite reads for this year.

Best Swoon-Worthy, Laugh-Fest in years!

I've always loved Lauen's books, but I think she's outdone herself this time. Spencer is cocky yet dreamy, sarcastic and sincere, funny and serious. And he's sporting a HUGE...advantage. Pretty much qualifies him for best book boyfriend ever, as far as I'm concerned. Charlotte is me. At least, in my mind, she is. I see myself in Charlotte. I felt it. From the very beginning through both epilogues, I felt all of it. In the end, I wanted to stand up and applaud like I did at the end of Star Wars:The Force Awakens.

I cannot even begin to say how awesome it is to read an all guy-POV!!! Being a romance reading for half my life reading from a man's POV is just a refreshing change! The story may not have been an original BUT because it was coming from his side it made it wonderful and different! There wasn't a lot of nonsense like miscommunications, the female being stubborn to the point of being obnoxious and none of the 'oh I'm feeling overwhelmed let me do another female to make it all better' junk ... It was just a great story and should be read without delay! So worth it.

Big Rock was definitely a hoot to read! I liked Spencer and Charlotte's relationship, it was really cute. They get each other and are a great pairing. I liked the storyline, but I feel like it was missing something. I found myself mentally yelling at the characters a few times for things they did/did not do and thought. They were a bit frustrating at times, but I still enjoyed their story. I especially thought the ending was sweet and perfect for them.

Oh, my goodness, did I love this book. BIG ROCK is the best example of why I fell in love with Lauren Blakely and her writing. This is a read full of heart, humor, sexiness, and romance, and it warms me right down to my toes. Spencer and Charlotte are the quintessential LB couple. They're both such great personalities, the kind of people that I would want to spend time with. The best thing about their relationship is that they're already friends, and already know the important things about each other. All in all, BIG ROCK is an easy 6 sexy, panty-melting, romantic, 'I can't get enough of it' stars. Everybody should be adding this to their TBR, because it is one of my favorite reads for this year.

I've always loved Lauen's books, but I think she's outdone herself this time. Spencer is cocky yet dreamy, sarcastic and sincere, funny and serious. And he's sporting a HUGE...advantage. Pretty much qualifies him for best book boyfriend ever, as far as I'm concerned. Charlotte is me. At least, in my mind, she is. I see myself in Charlotte. I felt it. From the very beginning through both epilogues, I felt all of it. In the end, I wanted to stand up and applaud like I did at the end of Star Wars:The Force Awakens.

I cannot even begin to say how awesome it is to read an all guy-POV!!! Being a romance reading for half my life reading from a man's POV is just a refreshing change! The story may not have been an original BUT because it was coming from his side it made it wonderful and different! There wasn't a lot of nonsense like miscommunications, the female being stubborn to the point of being obnoxious and none of the 'oh I'm feeling overwhelmed let me do another female to make it all better' junk ... It was just a great story and should be read without delay! So worth it.
